IEMVs
IEMVs or Illegally modified exports vehicles are ships that were changed without a permit or governmental oversight. This type of vehicle is a threat to every planet and government. often these ships are used for piracy or Smuggling within a system, so avoiding the Appearance of an IEMV is important. from time to time, these illegal ships travel Through the drift to other systems, but this is incredibly dangerous without a personal SARF vehicle, and those are all registered at creation.
Anytime a vehicle is modified, upgraded, or augmented the changes need to be Registered with the local office of Space Fairing Vehicles, or OSFV; an intersolar Organization that reports their permits and modifications to each local Jurisdiction. Failure to report such changes may result in a fine, or Possible jail time, depending on the modification. This is an effort to slow or prevent piracy, so please Comply with all local laws and statues.
